Founded in 2001 by Paul LeBaron Thiebaud (1960-2010), Paul Thiebaud Gallery has an established a track record of excellence in both its roster of artists and curated exhibitions. A defining feature of the gallery has been its commitment to exhibiting the best of established, mid-career, and emerging contemporary artists alongside Modern Masters.
Notable exhibitions of the gallery include solo presentations for Willem de Kooning, Giorgio Morandi, Wayne Thiebaud, Stephen De Staebler, Robert Indiana, Franz Kline, and Richard Diebenkorn. Paul LeBaron Thiebaud also continued the Twenty-Five Treasures exhibition series he debuted in 1990 while a partner in Campbell-Thiebaud Gallery. The gallery has also initiated an artist talk series as part of its programming to facilitate an open dialogue among artists, educators, and curators within the arts community, as well as, cultivating relationships with institutions in the Bay Area and nationally.
