Through my paintings I explore my desire to capture the essence of the spiritual.
Being influenced by nature, non-ordinary states of consciousness and lucid dreaming, I seek a process that is intuitive and emotional by responding to what I see and feel, creating a dance with color and a variety of marks in space. An underlying architecture, be it abstract or figurative, is revealed by the geometry in space and on the surface.
I am hoping to arrive at a poetic place where color, light, geometry, and rhythm intertwine in harmony.
